Whereas most of you guys consider summer to be their favorite season,I do sometimes have difficulties finding an outfit. Especially when temperatures are higher than 20 degrees. I’m extremely complicated when it comes to my summer wardrobe. Although I am super happy about warmer temperatures and tons of sunshine, summer outfits kind of drive me crazy. It is hard to find pieces that are true to my style yet keep you cool and airy on hot days. Short dresses in combination with pretty sandals look too girly to me ( I prefer boots), long dresses make me look too small ( at least that’s what I think) and cute little shorts look way better at the beach than they do at the office. This time however, I managed to survive and I’m completely happy with my sophisticated take on a perfect summer look.

The Ganni vest

I have somehow turned into a dress-lover over the past couple of weeks. All it takes is my favorite beige Ganni vest and a long white mens shirt. Et voilà, my way to create a chic summer look. Nothing screams more summer quite like neutral and light colours. A plain white shirt is the most versatile piece I can think of. The shirt from today’s outfit has an oversized and boxy fit and the perfect length to wear as a dress.

I wanted to keep things simple, yet chic enough to take my outfit from the office straight out to dinner. The beige vest is a great replacement for a conventional jacket and adds an extra cool layer to my look. I love wearing heels or cute flats with jeans and leather pants but really like to pair dresses with boots or platform sneakers. I always try to create contrasts and clashing styles. Grab that Gucci belt bag and you’re good to go…
