We saw it all over the runway and street style accounts at NYFW : Yellow for spring and summer 2018.

And because we don’t want to wait till spring we can already wear it now.

I used to think that I can’t wear yellow and that it doesn’t suit me very well, but I guess you just have to find the right shade for your skin tone. It is such a fun and versatile colour. You can always play it safe by pairing it with black and white, but it also perfectly works with other strong colours, such as purple, pink or blue.

Pair It With Black and White

I decided to go for the safe version in black and white. My key piece is this beautiful yellow cashmere blend SET jumper. It is super soft and extremely light. I paired it with my new white silk SET blouse, a pair of old Adidas tracksuit bottoms and my favourite Aeyde mules. The jumper has a rather classic and basic style. The Adidas pants are a nice contrast and create an interesting incongruous style. The little stitching on the collar adds an extra bit of coolness to the whole look.
