One night with AMIRI

Anzeige/AD: Sometimes you need to add more yellow to your life and upgrade a rather simple look in a few seconds. As I told you in my previous blog post, I visited Apropos Store last week to shoot my favorite pieces from the new spring/summer collection. And guess what? I immediately fell in love with this amazing AMIRI hoodie.

It comes in a cropped and boxy fit. I love the extremely long and chunky sleeves and the ripped cuffs. The raw hems, the distressed details, a big kangaroo pocket and the eye-catching logo print underline the smooth attitude of this statement piece. I like the way the white tie fastenings act in combination with the bold yellow colour and create a contrasting and special look. You can feel the high quality of the soft cotton on your skin and never want to take it off again. Combining comfort with high fashion, AMIRI knows how to please the high end market.

Established in 2013, “AMIRI is bringing haute couture to a rock ‘n’ roll aesthetic.” Effortlessly cool LA streetwear meets a young and pulsing rock ‘n’ roll attitude with artistic influences. The brand definitely understands the high end market. Luxurious cotton and cashmere meet distressed designs and raw hems. No two AMIRI pieces are the same. They are all unique. The collections are always made in LA with limited stock runs of each item.

My Look with the new AMIRI hoodie

I decided to keep my look as simple as possible and set the main focus on the yellow sweater. I normally like to play with proportions. Whenever I wear a boxy shirt or jacket, I try to pair it with fitted trousers and when I decide to wear wide and flared pants, I usually go for a tight top. I am kind of breaking my own rules with today’s outfit and giving the total oversized look a try. I’m wearing the most comfortable 5Preview leather pants, I have already talked about in a previous post here and a simple white long shirt for an extra cool layer. The pointy black heels and my wavy hair add an extra bit of femininity to the rather sporty look.
