Yet another basic look with a little twist and splash of colour. When it comes to basics, the classic combination of a simple shirt and blue denim is always right. There is not much that can actually compete with it.
I’ve been hiding these CLOSED jeans inside my wardrobe for quite a while now, but finally gave them a try over the weekend. The photos capture the first bit of ‘warm’ temperatures and sunshine of this year. It felt so good to wear cropped jeans, no socks and a light jacket. Without a doubt, blue jeans are a timeless closet staple and my go-to basic. As you guys know, I love wearing subtle and neutral shades. Therefore I decided to go for a safe combination of light blue and black and put the main focus on my choice of extravagant accessories with a little splash of colour.
Pedal ’85 – CLOSED
I really like when brands reinvent the heritage style. I instantly fell in love when I saw the Pedal ’85 at the CLOSED boutique and couldn’t resist but take the jeans home with me. The high waisted and straight fit, the double waistband with the cool cut-out details – 80’s fashion at its best. I am really into the vintage mom-style with a cropped fit and fringed hem.
To underline the sporty 80’s look I decided to go for a cool polo shirt and my chunky EYTYS sneakers. My orange blazer, I wore in a previous post here, adds that extra little bit of colour to my outfit. I love to combine blazers with jeans and sneakers. They always create a chic touch and add femininity. Can you feel the 80’s vibes?
